Iftar day27- Mummy busy baking raya cookies today( ni kalau Andak tengok mesti dia jeles aje), so we tapau Chicken/beef mandi & sembosa. Andak & mak andak is already ambil leave..jeles..jeles ni. The cookies' resipi are all from majalah Rasa(hidangan pra sawal) and also from Mat Gebu blog (coolest blog of all). Credit to both of them... ;-) tart nenas tu tak berapa cantik becoz mummy pakai jem dalam botol nya. jem yang dibuat sendiri tu dah habis and mummy tak ambik gambar tart nenas (yang cantik sikit tu) sebab dah susun kat bawah sangat dalam bekas, tapi sedap. :P Iftar 28 – mummy cooked pot roast and baked pototes topped with loads of cheese and also sembosa, no pix. Lepas ishak we ronda2 KiKa, waw big, nice and colorful stuff there. We got some chair pads. .tu yang paling murah -for our dining chairs (which were stained like what ; ada macam2 map on top of it ) helllloooooooo..hu..hu..from the previous owner ya!).. Looking for table runners, tak de yang tersangkut for it!! Banyak benda2 best tapi mahal2, prefer Ikea’s stuff. Talking about European stuff…Yes..yes.. IKEA will be in town soon!!! It’s just behind KiKa.. Lepas tu kita makan kat foood court… we found out that H&M also just opened a day before semalam. We browsed in H&M but the stuff there were like ages punya. Just grabbed some jumpers and tops for Alif & Atia only. The older girls pun tak minat sangat this time..tak tau kenapa… nangtuk kot.. BTW H&M was also our fav store while in Amsterdam 4 years ago. We just love the kids’ apparels and their jumpers…cute,…. mute kena nya. Ayah bought a Altec Lansing inMotion mobile audio/speaker sstem for Ipod touch/Nano @700sr. Nice sound system tough and looking forward for the Bosch one… saw one at KLCC… thought of getting one…but on 2nd thought food or speaker to KSA…food leh kan. Mummy prepared a small portion of each and kena satisfy everyone. :-S. . eg i) Alif's very particular on foods; makan nasi only with kuah sayur saja, Maggi # 1 in the list and toasted bread with butter/nuttella/donut. He will not makan daging, ayam, ikan (salmon - Yes), no fast foodKFC/McD, sayur. onLY eat Nugget yg digoreng kat umah. (labelled as WeirdO) ii) Atia's practically will eat everything except lauk daging/seafood/sayur. iii)Asha - she will eat anything except ikan bilis/paru2 goreng, a NO No. iv)Kakak- not particular about food. :-D eat watever there is. The end of the day ~~~ mummy's very happy&satisfied jua apabila lauk2 dihidang semua licin~~~huh After ishak we went to Jarir to get some frames for the school pictures.Finally we agreed to ge 2 first coz mahal sangat lah (quality tak cantik). Then browsing around the sale corner jumpa this awesome Great Sewing accessories - to Sew - hopefully will inspire me to sew again. Mummy's just love looking at their sewing room..i wish ;-) Iftar 21 - mummy's running out of ideas of what's for cooking. The easiest one is nasi ayam LOL and sayur lemak labu&udang., sembosa and shorwma. Khalas. $-) The kids' school break starts on the 22nd sept to 10 OCt 2008 for Eid holidays. We plan to go back KL for raya but it's toooo expensive for 2 weeks cuti and moreover ayah couldnot get any break as yet. so we gonna stay put in jubail hopefully pegi raya2. LOL We called andak just now...yes he almost bought everything that we asked him to i.e. our barang dapur list. Insyaallah he will send it to ayah's friend house. We had sup tulang, ikan kembong masak taucu, paru2 goreng lagi!, chicken sembosa from Farm @Najd and beef sembosa from faiha Turmekistan restaurant (sound something like that lah - not recommended coz tak de rasa beefnya , banyak herbs !), takde sayur ari ni. ;-) Lepas margrib update FP ni...lecehlah banyak lagi al0kisah/gambar semasa summer 2008nak diupload (ni kes malas& sikap "ah tunggu lah"). Our last year's summer pic/story pun tak de dlm FP ni, that's history already MALAS dah.. :-> . Lepas je Ishak, we all gone to RashidMall&Carrefour (kakak&asha got their FOrever21 tops which are on sale, ayah got his attitude pants, and while mummy got 2 tops as well***tight sgt pulak***). Then we all makan pasta at Vanelli's and singgah at Care4 kejap, balik and sampai umah around 1.00am. LOL .. We didn't celebrate it with cakes as both of them refused to have it. Kakak got a pair of earings and Alif's as usual BioNicles $-) . Mula2 tu he refused to go to Miri coz takut kat Miri tak de toystore. He's shocked to find out that Miri a small town has the latest Bionicles in the world...huh... huh.. Baru bangun tidor terus buka presents and assemble his BioNicles... Happy time gather-gather... Having tea while waiting for the shuttle bus to go to airport> for KL. SO today mummy goreng2 je lauk yang bestnya ikan bilis goreng tu..sedap bukak selera.. tekak ayah and mummy je lah. Sayur kangkung tu ayah beli 2 ikat for it's for today & tomorrow's iftar. FOr iftar day17- for the second time in mummy's life...buat kuih bom tu..alhamdulillah, ianya menjadik! ;-), probably buat cincai2 kot (like if it's too sticky just add now flour, khalas LOL ). 1st time buat tu tak jadik coz while frying ianya pecah and melatop lagi LOL. Lepas ishak, we went to Jubail town (dont really like to go there though), terlalu chaotic(cowboy town)!!! Our mission nak carik tepong beras pulut(4 kuih bom) and probably some beras pulut or so; singgah at SameWay, hoorray ;-) yes semua ada tepong beras, pulut and tapiaoca. Then jumpa instant pasta , banyak stocknya (Alif,Atia and Aimran's fav and for their sahur) and cheaper some more (4.75); kalau kat Panda it's 6.00 and limited stock pulak tu. yeah, barang2 dapur (not fruits) memang cheaper at Sameway compared to Panda, Farm & Giant. Panda's fruits are cheaper. Yang lecehnya nak gi Jubail town tu half an hour , tu yang selalu gi Panda je. Get these at Sameway, it's cheaper and loads of them. Met my ex-colleagues and also our ever beautiful AIA RegiNa...missed chatting with her :-S . The apartment was so cool...below's the shopping mall and the food court as well. Not much thing to do and Nenek was staying with us :-D . Alif and Atia was so happy and Aimran was abit blurred with her...tak ingat kot... the weather was not so happy to welcome us...it's either raaining in the morning or late afternoon... so the kids not so happy ..tak dapat sangat nak swimming. Then we went to the Borneo RainFOrest Resorthttp://borneorainforestresort.com about 45mins drive from Miri Town. We went there with one of mummy's relative and her family. well, it's a jungle trekking for us... :-( .
